Glendale is a city in Maricopa County, Arizona, United States, located about nine miles northwest from Downtown Phoenix. There were 79,114 households out of which 39.9% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 53.5% were married couples living together, 12.8% had a female householder with no husband present, and 28.2% were non-families. 21.3% of all households were made up of individuals and 5.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
